On Sunday, 7th February 2016, members of the Ex-Prisoners of War and Relatives Association (Victoria) Inc, attended the 12th Anniversary Service of the Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial in Ballarat. Among those present were thirteen World War 11 ex-POWs from both Europe and Japan. The guest speaker was author Pattie Wright who told the story of John ‘Jack’ Moule-Probert, MM MC, of the Rifle Brigade British Army, Royal Flying Corps and the 2/15th Battalion AIF who was a prisoner in Germany in WW1 and Japan in WW 11. She also spoke of the passing of Lieutenant Gavin Campbell, RAN (Retd) HMAS Perth 1.
